Replacing Siding Through Insurance

With PowCo’s expertise in identifying storm damage on your entire exterior, we will look for any storm-related damage to your siding during our initial inspection or meeting with your insurance adjuster. If damage is found, we will provide your insurance company with an estimate to bring the siding back to its pre-storm condition using standard insurance estimating software as well as any other trades such as roofing and gutters that are also affected. Because of this, we have a much greater likelihood of getting the siding approved for a full replacement since we are using insurance language and writing our estimate based on the scope of the work, not the price. Furthermore, many older types of siding such as vinyl are discontinued. If we think your siding may be discontinued, we can confirm with receipts for the insurance company by sending a sample of the siding in for testing. Since Montana is an insurance matching state, even the slightest storm damage to your discontinued siding could qualify for a complete replacement with a superior product (generally fiber-cement) through your insurance company.
