We specialize in Insurance Claim Representation and are experts in the areas of storm damage and the insurance process. At PowCo, our trained experts have helped countless property owners, both residential and commercial, to maximize the value of their claims and get them approved for new roofing, siding, windows, doors, decking, etc! We have experience working with all of the major insurance companies and local insurance adjusters. Our storm damage professionals use the same inspection methods and estimating software that is used by insurance companies when writing claims. Therefore, we know exactly what it takes to maximize your claim with the best chances of quick approval. We meet with your insurance adjuster on-site in order to provide a pre-written estimate, roof CAD, relevant codes, any discontinued products, storm data, etc. We then facilitate communication with the insurance company and adjusters to ensure the most comprehensive claim.

At PowCo, we are dedicated to consistency and communication. Using previous experiences in the industry and seeing some of the common practices among the largest roofers in our area is largely what led the founders of PowCo to create their own company. Strong working-relationships with our customers have always been our bread and butter. Working for other roofers we didn’t have decision-making power to be able to provide our customers with the level of service and integrity that we thought necessary.

Many of the area’s largest roofers aren’t professionals when it comes to scheduling and communication and put personal finances before integrity when it comes to their schedule. It is also a common theme for customers to be treated widely differently when it comes to pricing. A big roofer might charge one homeowner a base level price, and then charge another customer a marked-up price for the same roof just because they think they can afford it. Furthermore, it is common in the area for homeowners to start working with a roofer, only to be pushed down to the bottom of the schedule, told that they don’t have time, or blown off altogether as soon as a bigger job comes up.

Initial Inspection

A storm damage specialist will perform a comprehensive exterior inspection by marking & taking pictures of all of the storm damage that was identified using the same methods that field adjusters use when assessing an insurance claim for storm damage.

Comprehensive Damage Report

The comprehensive storm damage report is put together by creating a picture report explaining damages that were photographed during the initial inspection, matching that picture report to the most relevant storm that affected the area. Next, we’ll analyze to determine if affected materials are discontinued, in accordance with local building codes, meet manufacturer’s requirements, etc.

Free Roofing Estimate

Once the scope of work has been identified and an agreement has been signed, a free roofing estimate is prepared to meet the needs of that specific project.

Job Completion

Once the installation has been done and verified using our multipoint roofing inspection, a job completion sign-off and labor warranty are provided to the customer.
